隨著網路世界的發達，近幾年許多觀眾越來越習慣使用IMDB，無論是查詢資料、演出歷史、或是觀看一部電影或影集的評分等等。為了慶祝週年紀念，IMDB提供給Vanity Fair一份名單，列出1990年至2014年期間，每一年用戶評分最高的電影。
